Jimmy had the gift of encouragement, and he would always say that things were going to work out. I was blessed, any student that was in class with him was blessed. No one could escape the Jimmy effect; the smile, the laugh, the serious face because he was about to make a point, and his ability to tackle difficult tasks. The wealth of knowledge that he possessed as a pastor and a man of God. Today was a hard day, there will be others, and that is okay. I know that Jimmy would want each of us to remember the Hope and most of all the Life that God provides. I am praying with the Stevens family and all who loved Jimmy.
