BSK IS…

Accessible

Life is busy and complicated.

BSK makes it possible to pursue your degree or certificate online from your home or office.

Whomever you are, if God has called you to some form of ministry, you will find welcome, community and challenge at BSK.

Our Approach

“Online” learning can have many meanings. At BSK, we talk about “in-place” learning that focuses on the learner in their life context — wherever that may be. At the same time, we believe that the formation involved in quality theological education happens in relationship. Seeing and knowing one another is important, as is the ability to ask questions and be part of real conversation.

As you schedule your courses, keep this approach in mind, since it means being present via Zoom at the set days and times.

Work-Friendly Scheduling

Our courses are currently offered once per week, for up to three hours at a time (yes, there’s a break). Some classes may choose to meet only two hours via Zoom, with the remaining time engaged through our online learning system for discussion, research and more.

Classes are offered on Mondays (9am, 1pm, 6pm), Tuesdays (6pm), and Thursdays (6pm). This work-friendly schedule helps students continue working while pursuing theological education.

Excellent Online Theological Library Resources

BSK also is a member of the Digital Theological Library, allowing online access for all BSK students to access:

  • Over 600,000 ebooks
  • More than 150 databases
  • Over 22,000 journal titles
  • Over 50,000,000 full-text, peer-reviewed articles
  • Every Bible Commentary that is available digitally
  • and more.

Available Options

Students can pursue non-credit Flourish Certificates, Graduate Certificates, or a full Master of Divinity degree or Master of Arts in Ministry Studies using our in-place approach. Auditing courses is also possible.
