On Thursday evening, June 26, three BSK alumni were comissioned for chaplaincy by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. Each year at its General Assembly, CBF comissions chaplains and pastoral counselors that are being endorsed by the denominetwork.
BSK was well represented in this ceremony as three BSK alumni participated!
Bert Montgomery, BSK class of 2007, was comissioned. Bert serves as Chaplain & Community Advocate with St. Anthony’s Hospice in Henderson, KY.
Renee Edington, BSK class of 2024, was comissioned. Renee serves as a chaplain resident at UK Hospital in Lexington, KY.
Leigh Anne Armstrong, BSK class of 2024, was comissioned for chaplaincy. Leigh Anne serves as Associate Chaplain at East Alabama Medical Center in Auburn, AL.
