BSK alumna, Rev. Laura Edgar, has begun serving as Chapel and Community Prayers Coordinator for BSK. Laura is a 2015 graduate of BSK and is Associate Pastor for Youth, College, and Young Adults at First Baptist Church in Auburn, AL. Laura says,
“Prayers and chapel services bring the BSK community together for moments of reflection, spiritual formation, and a sense of grounding from which to learn and explore. These gatherings provide opportunities to practice the thoughtfulness and pastoral leadership students are learning in seminary. On a personal note, when BSK began hosting community prayers during the pandemic, these weekly gatherings were a lifeline for me. They provided space to reflect, rest, and connect with my own soul and with others. I’m thrilled to play a role in continuing to foster these opportunities for the BSK community.”
