BSK seeks Academic Administrator

BSK seeks a highly organized Academic Administrator to support the Academic Office in its work of support for students and faculty as well as the seminary’s academic programs. 

This role provides important administrative, technical, and coordination support to the Academic Office as it administrates academic programs, activities, and grants. The Academic Administrator works closely with the Academic Dean and the Registrar/Academic Coordinator and other directors to manage student and faculty support, academic events, meetings, and grant documentation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

·      Ability to do light technical support for students and faculty

·      Maintain documentation and support grant reporting

·      Assist with logistics and planning for Academic Office events

·      Ensure clear communication and follow-up with Academic Dean, Registrar/Academic Coordinator, and faculty/staff/students

·      Other academic office work as assigned

Qualifications

·      3–5 years of experience working in an academic, ministerial, non-profit, or corporate educational context

·      Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills

·      Ability to manage multiple workflows and deadlines

·      Familiarity with Microsoft 365 is highly desirable

·      Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is highly desirable

·      Ability to learn and work with academic information systems

Preferred

·      Experience in grant-funded settings

·      Experience supporting students and faculty

·      Ability to be physically present to seminary offices in Lexington and Louisville, KY, as needed.

Position is 30 hours per week.
