As BSK grows and expands, recruitment and partnership efforts have expanded, as well. The Seminary now partners with multiple denominational groups. As each of these groups gather annually for meetings, BSK students serving in churches within these areas are able to represent BSK and share about their experience with others in attendance.
Just this fall, Holly Hatton, a BSK student, represented BSK at the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Tennessee’s annual gathering. BSK student Dorian Medeiros represented BSK at CBF of Virginia’s gathering, and recent BSK alumnus, Devan Franklin, represented BSK at an NBCA, Intl., Inc. meeting in Tennessee.
One of BSK’s great strengths is that our students bring their own unique contexts into their classroom, contributing to class discussion as they actively work in ministry where they live and serve. BSK is the “seminary that comes to you,” and BSK students help make that happen!
