This Sunday, April 15, 2018, has been designated as our 2nd annual BSK Sunday. On BSK Sunday, over 15 churches across Kentucky, and even some in other states, will highlight BSK during their morning worship services. BSK students, faculty, staff, alumni, and trustees will spend time sharing their experiences with BSK and giving congregations updates on all of the good things happening at the Seminary. Some
of the individuals sharing will also be preaching or leading in worship in other capacities and some of the churches participating will include an insert about BSK in their worship bulletins.
The purpose of BSK Sunday is to help raise awareness of BSK within the congregations of our partner churches. BSK alumnus (and previous Interim Director of Admissions), Andrew Noe, developed the idea of BSK Sunday in 2017 and it has grown to include many more churches in 2018. Several of the churches participating in BSK Sunday are not able to do so on April 15th, but have chosen other Sundays that worked in their schedules to highlight BSK.
Churches participating in BSK Sunday are:
Buechel Park Baptist Church, Louisville, KY
Central Baptist Church, Lexington, KY
Salem Baptist Church, Morgantown, KY
Calvary Baptist Church, Lexington, KY
First Baptist Church, Frankfort, KY
First Baptist Church, Middletown, KY
