Veteran denominational communicator Pat Cole has been named director of advancement at the Baptist Seminary of Kentucky, effective Aug. 15.
Cole will work alongside BSK President David Cassady in support of the seminary’s communications and fund development initiatives. “We are thrilled to have someone with Pat’s incredible skillset and deep experience joining our team. He will play a key role in helping BSK share our story and continue growing our community,” explained President Cassady.
Previously, he served for 16 years on the national staff of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in Louisville. During most of his time there, he provided communications support for the PC(USA)’s fund development efforts.

He holds degrees from East Tennessee State University, Southern Seminary, and Webster University.
He and his wife, Janet, are longtime members of Crescent Hill Baptist Church in Louisville.
