Associate pastor

First Baptist Church of Warm Springs is seeking an Associate Pastor who senses God’s call to serve alongside the current pastor with the expectation of becoming his successor. The anticipated transition period is approximately twelve to eighteen months, allowing for intentional mentoring, relationship-building, and leadership development.
The Associate Pastor will help lead the church in fulfilling its mission of modeling the life of Christ to the community, caring for members of the church and community, and faithfully proclaiming the gospel. The successful candidate will possess strong pastoral instincts, relational warmth, and a collaborative leadership style.
The ideal candidate will appreciate the unique opportunities of rural ministry while embracing the vision of reaching a growing community. This individual will encourage congregational involvement, strengthen existing ministries, cultivate new outreach opportunities, and effectively utilize technology to enhance worship, communication, discipleship, and church administration.
