BSK celebrates the life of Omer Middleton who passed away last Friday, October 25. Omer, who had spent his career advocating for education, was a vital part of BSK’s board of trustees for 6 years. Carol Harston, chair of the BSK board of trustees, expresses the Seminary’s gratitude for Omer’s service alongside his wife, Bennye.
“Omer and Bennye’s reputation speaks to their shared commitment to BSK and faithfulness in God’s work in the world. My prayers are with Bennye and their family as they celebrate Omer’s life and mourn this loss in their lives.”
Visitation and the funeral service will be held this Saturday at St. Stephen Church in Louisville.
