BSK students are known for taking the “non-traditional route” to theological education, and Dr. Innocent Demshemino is no exception. Innocent found BSK through the Seminary’s partnership with Georgetown College where he is Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry. Innocent, originally from Nigeria, hopes that ministry is a part of his future and has been pursuing his M.Div at BSK since 2020.

Innocent has been invited to preach in 2 different CBF Kentucky churches over the last month: Living Faith Baptist Fellowship in Elizabethtown, KY where Rev. Roger Jasper, BSK alumnus, is pastor, as well as Faith Baptist Church in Georgetown, KY. Innocent’s sermon, entitled, “Unwrapping the Divine Gift,” was based off of Acts 1:1-12.
