BSK leadership grows

BSK is entering an exciting season of growth and strengthened leadership, marked by several key staff transitions and new roles that position the seminary for continued impact and innovation.

Executive Leadership

Chief Advancement and Partnership Officer: Anthony Everett oversees fundraising initiatives, Siloam programming, and leadership for the Institute for Black Church Studies.

Chief Academic Officer: Mark Medley continues to serve as BSK Dean and oversees BSK academic grants and programming.

Chief Operating Officer: Erica Whitaker oversees BSK procedures and financial operations, providing leadership for the administrative staff.

Tending Staff

Director of Tending: David Adams leads BSK’s Tending program and other BSK program initiatives, overseeing the development and distribution of church resources.

Project Administrator: Maurice Herring oversees the administrative needs of the Tending program, managing grant finances and program contracts.

Additional Positions Changes

Director of Library Services: Ryan Shrauner continues to oversee BSK library resources, as well as providing additional support for Tending program resources.

Director of Admission and Engagement: Abby Sizemore continues to lead BSK admissions while also overseeing engagement through internal and external communications.

Newly established BSK Cabinet: An institutional strategy and steering team comprised of academic and administrative staff providing vision and clarity for BSK initiatives.
