BSK grad says he has been invited to explore an “imaginative pastoral ministry” during his seminary career
Jordan Conley, a BSK student since Fall of 2018, currently serves as Interim Minister to Students and Young Adults at Crescent Hill Baptist Church in Louisville, KY. In addition to his work within the local church, Jordan is an intern with the Association of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists (AWAB). Jordan described his time at BSK as a “beloved community.”
“I came to BSK knowing I was called to pastoral ministry. At BSK, I’ve been invited to explore what an imaginative pastoral ministry looks like in today’s church. I’ve been challenged, empowered, and affirmed over and over again through the BSK community.
That gathered, beloved¬†community, is something I will miss tremendously; the dialogue in our classes, the weekly check-ins with peers, at BSK that is all part of our communal seminary journey. What a journey it has been!”
Congratulations, Jordan! You can attend our commencement ceremony in person at Crescent Hill Baptist Church in Louisville, KY on Saturday, May 14 at 2 PM, EST, or via livestream at our Facebook page.
