Dear Friends of Baptist Seminary of Kentucky:
As many of you know, BSK is a Candidate for Accredited Status with the Association of Theological Schools. The Seminary is currently involved in a self-study that will be the basis for evaluation by a visiting team made up of peers from ATS schools and ATS staff members.
Now it is your turn to be a part of this important Seminary-wide endeavor: BSK values your feedback!
Take some time over the next few weeks to review the draft self-study report and provide your insights and comments. The report presents evidence related to the ATS Standards for accreditation (http://www.ats.edu/
The report is comprehensive, and you might be interested in only one or two chapters. Feel free to focus your comments where your interests lie. Your feedback should be in the form of substantive comments on content – corrections of matters of fact or additional important information that might have been overlooked, for example.
As you read, keep in mind that this is a draft. Committee members are not looking for comments on mechanics, style or voice. The editing process will continue after your feedback is considered. (Most appendices and other supporting documents are not provided with the draft; many, such as the Seminary catalog and other public documents, may be available elsewhere on the Seminary website in their current editions, but updated editions will be in use by the time the final self-study report is submitted.)
The self-study report is available here. Please submit any feedback to: selfstudy@bsky.org.
Thank you for your involvement in the life of BSK!
