Rev. Dr. Carol Harston, who served as Chair of BSK’s Board of Trustees from 2024 to 2025, was recently installed as the eighteenth Senior Pastor of Highland Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Highland Baptist Church is a longtime partner of BSK, and Dr. Harston’s tenure as chair of the board coincided with a pivotal period in the Seminary’s history.
The installation service took place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, and was attended by BSK President Dr. David Cassady. In remarks celebrating Dr. Harston’s ministry and leadership, Dr. Cassady said, “It was a privilege to bring words of blessing from BSK during Rev. Dr. Carol Harston’s installation service. BSK celebrates with Highland Baptist Church and Pastor Harston as together they do bold ministry.”
BSK extends its congratulations to Rev. Dr. Harston and the congregation of Highland Baptist Church on this significant occasion!
