LEXINGTON, KY — BSK Theological Seminary welcomes Vitoria Blankenship as Academic Administrator, a role that supports the seminary’s academic programs and provides administrative, technical, and operational support for students and faculty. Blankenship’s position is funded through a sub-grant awarded through Pacific School of Religion’s “Transformative Learning Collaborative” initiative, which supports innovative and collaborative approaches to theological education.
In her new role, Blankenship will work closely with the Academic Dean, Registrar/Academic Coordinator, faculty, and staff to support BSK’s academic programs. She will assist with student and faculty support, coordinate academic events, maintain grant documentation, and help ensure the smooth operation of the Academic Office.
“I am delighted to announce that Vitoria Blankenship will be joining the Academic Office team at BSK as Academic Administrator. Vitoria brings a wealth of experience from hospitality management to her new role at the seminary. Her event planning and coordination experience will be vital to the Academic Office’s administration of various grants and subgrants with key seminary partners. Her management and technology experience will also be valuable to the Academic Office’s work of administering the seminary’s academic degree and certificate programs, as well as providing light technical support to faculty and students,” said Dr. Mark Medley, Academic Dean.
Blankenship brings more than five years of experience in administrative operations, event coordination, documentation management, and effective communication. Most recently, she served as Sales and Catering Manager at Embassy Suites by Hilton, Knoxville Downtown, following similar leadership roles with Black Fox Lodge, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and DoubleTree by Hilton Tampa Rocky Point Waterfront.
“What drew me to BSK was the opportunity to be part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and making a real difference. I’m excited to get to know everyone, contribute wherever I can, and continue learning as I begin this new chapter,” Blankenship said.
