Weather and Emergency Alerts

Below is a description of BSK’s Weather and Emergency Alert System. Please read closely for instructions in the event of inclement weather or general emergencies. If you would like to receive automatic text messages about these alerts, you can set that up through Populi by adding in a preferred phone number under the “Info” tab. If you need assistance setting this up, click here.

Level 1 Alert 

Classes are still in session, however, students are encouraged to use caution. Students should check Populi for announcements from instructors on any change in class status. Students should notify instructors if they are unable to attend class. If classes proceed normally, students who feel unsafe traveling may join remotely by Zoom, and student absences should be excused if students are unable to participate in person or by Zoom.

Level 2 Alert

BSK classrooms are not accessible. Classes may proceed by Zoom. Check Populi for announcements on class status.
