We need your thoughts.

How does your congregation handle ministry staff leadership for areas such as youth and children’s ministry?

Congregations need quality leadership for key ministry areas, and increasingly these leadership roles are bi-vocational (not full-time).

Persons with seminary degrees are unlikely to pursue these bi-vocational roles, leaving churches searching for effective leadership.

This survey gathers information about leadership needs and will inform our efforts to create theological education opportunities for present and future leaders.

Thank you for your assistance by sharing about your congregation!

Who should complete this survey?

All are welcome to take the survey, but we are particularly interested in hearing from persons serving congregations as pastors, ministers, or leaders of personnel, administrative council or deacon chairs.

Children & Youth Ministry Leadership

Congregations continue to need quality leadership for key programming areas, such as children and youth ministries. These leadership roles are increasingly part-time. Persons with seminary degrees are unlikely to pursue such part-time roles, leaving churches searching for effective leadership. This survey seeks to gather information about congregational needs and resources for children and youth ministries, and to help us provide for the theological education needs of these leaders. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes. Thank you for your participation.
