BSK students and alumni recently ordained to ministry in the church and beyond

Rev. Leigh Anne Armstrong

BSK’s purpose statement, “to prepare men and women sensing God’s leadership for life and ministry in faithful witness to Jesus Christ in the church and the world” is always manifesting itself and has especially so this fall! This fall, three different BSK students and alumni were ordained by different churches.

Rev. Hannah Moody (pictured above), who graduated from BSK in 2021, was ordained by Calvary Baptist Church in Lexington, KY. Hannah currently works in the social work field.

Rev. Ervin Hollins, who graduated from BSK in 2020, was ordained by the West End Baptist Church in Louisville, KY, where Dr. Dartanya Hill, an adjunct faculty member at BSK, is pastor. Ervin is currently working as a chaplain.

Rev. Leigh Anne Armstrong, a current student at BSK, was ordained by First Baptist Church in Auburn, AL. Leigh Anne is a musician and a songwriter.

BSK students and alumni are always using their theological education and ordination to ministry in a variety of creative ways and these three are great examples of that!
