Camp Staff

Each summer, Passport employs college and seminary students to be the leaders of our ministry. 400 churches from all over the southeastern United States join us each summer with over 6,000 students each year. While our camps are ecumenical, most of our churches relate to the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.

As a PASSPORT staffer, you’ll learn how to teach Bible study, lead on stage, respond to crisis, and engage God’s children in new ways. Whether you are looking to deepen your walk with the Lord, prepare yourself for ministry or just have the summer of a lifetime, PASSPORT camps will leave you forever changed.

PASSPORTkids! is a 4-day, 3-night children’s camp for kids who have completed 3rd-6th grade filled with fun faith-building programming and hands-on missions education. At camp kids discover God’s love and practice being followers of Jesus through Bible studies, missions education, recreation, and worship. Staffers should love children, be flexible team players and enjoy telling others about Jesus. This team will have 15-17 staffers.

PASSPORTchoices is a 6-day, 5-night creative discipleship camp for youth who have completed 6th-12thgrades. PASSPORTchoicesgives students the freedom to customize their camp experience, explore their passions, and live out their calling. Students choose from multiple afternoon activities designed to help them cultivate their unique identity as a follower of Jesus Christ. Choice tracks range from environmentalism, to heath and fitness, to music and ministry. Staffers should enjoy youth, thoughtful conversations, be flexible team players and be willing to be a servant leader. This team will have 16-18 staffers.

PASSPORTmissions is a 6-day, 5-night camp experience that combines the excitement of summer camp with the adventure of a mission trip. Students grow closer to God as they discover new friends throughout the week as they put their faith into action making a difference in the world. Students spend three hours each day in hands-on missions that are meaningful and sustainable to the communities in which we serve. Staffers should enjoy youth, being the hands and feet of Christ, thoughtful conversations and be flexible team players and be wiling to be a servant leader. This team will have 16-18 staffers.

MissionBASEis a 6-day, 5 night thoughtfully planned mission expedition into the heart of a city. MissionBASE students will connect with the unmet needs of a community in a way that respects these cities, encourages relationship building and ignites passion for service in the name of Jesus. Each MissionBASE will focus on the history, challenges and culture of a particular city. MissionBASE staffers should be flexible, creative and willing to lead in various ways. This team works as a cross-functional unit with each staff member having oversight of a particular area, but all helping each other out. This team will have 4 staffers.
