Children Director (Full-Time)

Culpeper Baptist Church is seeking a full-time Children Director to lead and grow our ministry for children from birth through 5th grade. This role offers creative freedom, leadership autonomy, and meaningful impact in a healthy, family-oriented church.
The Role
• Create a safe, welcoming, and joyful environment for children and families
• Design and lead engaging, age-appropriate biblical teaching (Birth–5th grade)
• Recruit, train, and encourage volunteer teams
• Partner with parents in children’s spiritual formation
• Oversee Sunday morning children’s programming
The Person
• A growing personal faith and a clear sense of calling to children’s ministry
• Strong communication & leadership skills
• Ability to lead volunteers with warmth, clarity, and accountability
• Experience working with children (church, school, or nonprofit)
Details
• Full-time position with benefits (health, retirement, vacation)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent ministry experience considered
• Compensation commensurate with experience
