Dr. Mark Medley to be Theologian-in-Residence at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd

Dr. Medley has been a part of BSK’s faculty since 2007.

In addition to his primary vocation of Professor of Theology at Baptist Seminary of Kentucky, Dr. Mark Medley has recently begun serving as theologian-in-residence at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Lexington, KY. Beginning on September 8 and continuing through May 2020, Dr. Medley’s primary responsibilities will be adult formation and catechesis. Dr. Medley says,

“I’m very excited to return to Good Shepherd as theologian-in-residence. Whether in an adult formation class or in small group Bible study, we are learning what it is to think theologically. I hope I can help parishioners to think more deeply about every dimension of our lives in light of the true life and love revealed to us in the person and mission of Jesus Christ. Theology matters. Not simply in the classroom but, more importantly, in the church and in the world. I anticipate my residency will only reinforce this.”
